creator of iconic visuals and thrilling narratives
After obtaining his MFA from USC School of Cinema Television, Breck Eisner started his career directing television commercials. In the span of a decade he directed more than one hundred spots for the likes of Budweiser, Coke, Heineken, Pepsi among many others. In television, he directed the pilot for 'The Invisible Man’, an episode of the Emmy winning miniseries ‘Steven Spielberg Presents Taken’, the pilot for the NBC horror anthology show ‘Fear Itself’ as well as the lead director on five seasons of Amazon’s ‘The Expanse’. His film directing credits include ‘The Crazies’, ‘Sahara’ and ‘The Last Witch Hunter’.
Global impact
Mr. Eisner recently co-founded, with the three creators of ‘The Expanse’, a new media production company called Expanding Universe. Their first project is ‘Captives War’ a television adaptation of the James S.A. Corey novels at Amazon. Mr. Eisner also co-owns and serves on the board of the English professional football club ‘Portsmouth FC’ as well as the board for the start up video gaming studio ‘Believer’.
