Description

Starring Johnny Depp, Lena Olin, and Frank Langella, The Ninth Gate follows Dean Corso (Depp), an unscrupulous rare-book dealer who specializes in tracking down rare and exotic volumes for collectors. When an eccentric millionaire (Langella) hires Corso to locate the last remaining copies of a centuries-old demonic manuscript rumored to be used to summon the Devil, Corso is embroiled in a global conspiracy involving murder, theft, and satanic ritual — and discovers that the one thing more terrifying than searching for Satan … is finding him.
